Seeman was born on eight November in Aranaiyur Village, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu, India. He was born to Mr Senthamizhan and Mrs Annammal Senthamizhan in a Tamil family. In , he married Kayalvizhi, a daughter of Okay. Kalimuthu (former Speaker of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from AIADMK event) throughout the presence of Pazha Nedumaran and others. In the Tamil movie ‘Panchalankurichi’, a woman (Ilavarasi), while trying to cross a river to migrate with her young son (Kitaan, played by Prabhu) to a village that forms the title of the film, drowns after throwing her son to safety. The film is about Kitaan’s valour and virtue, all of which he owes to his mother’s sacrifice. Today, the director of ‘Panchalankurichi’ is better known as Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) leader Seeman. Like in his directorial debut, in politics too Seeman displays a martyr complex.
