    "My Life in Hopewell" tracks the history of a family and a community through the ages. Starting with the earliest days of Hopewell, it follows the evolution of Effie J. Booker's family and the rest of the community as it grew and changed to the modern day. Part history and part memoir, Booker paints a vivid picture of how one small town can start, grow, and thrive as well as the families that impact, and in turn, are impacted by it.

    About the Author
    Effie J. Booker is the oldest daughter and the 4th out of 11 children. She was named for her grandmother, and wished to carry on the legacy of her large family and its small community in Hopewell. Her book was written to ensure that the history of her family lives on for several generations to come.
