Iris van Herpen (born June 5, ) is a Dutch fashion designer known for fusing technology with traditional haute couture[1] craftsmanship.[2] Van Herpen opened her own label Iris van Herpen in In , the Dutch designer became a guest-member of the Parisian Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, part of the Fédération française de la couture.[3] Since then, Van Herpen has continuously exhibited her new collections at Paris Fashion Week.[4] Van Herpen's work has been included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

Iris van Herpen is a Holland-based fashion designer. After studying mode Design at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts Arnhem and interning at Alexander McQueen in London, and Claudy Jongstra in Amsterdam, van Herpen starts her label in , Arnhem, the Netherlands, and shows her first collection at the Amsterdam Fashion Week.

MAISON IRIS VAN HERPEN
Since its founding year , the maison of Iris van Herpen has been pushing an interdisciplinary dialogue between nature, art, science, dance and architecture. Merging different disciplines in unexpected and pioneering ways has been paramount to Iris van Herpen's distinctive creative process which can be described as an inextricable bond between traditional craftsmanship and future-facing technology.
Four years later, she joined the exclusive Fédération dem la Haute Couture in Paris, showing her collections bi-annually at the Paris Haute Couture Week.
The year marked a turning point in her career: she presented her first 3D-printed dress from the Crystallization Collection. In , the Groninger Museum devoted a first major exhibition to her work. Van Herpen's embodied art has become a permanent fixture in the musea landsape with her designs in world-leading museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New
