Kotkan veistospromenadi
Kotkan veistospromenadi on Kotkassa kaupungin keskustassa Kotkansaarella sijaitseva veistoskokoelma, joka käsittää pääosin suomalaisten nykykuvanveistäjien teoksia[1]. Veistoskokoelman ensimmäiset teokset pystytettiin Keskuskadun viereiseen lehmusbulevardiin, jossa on suurin osa teoksista. Veistoskokoelmaa nimitettiin alun perin Veistospuistoksi, mutta teosmäärän kasvettua ja sijoittelun laajennuttua alkuperäisen Veistospuiston ulkopuolelle kokonaisuus nimettiin Veistospromenadiksi syksyllä [2].
Historia
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Keskuskadun vierellä kulkeva lehmusbulevardi peruskunnostettiin vuosina –, ja se sai vuonna Vuoden ympäristörakennepalkinnon[1]. Lähes kilometrin mittainen lehmusbulevardi on osittain peräisin jo luvulta[3]. Veistospuisto sai alkunsa vuosina –, jolloin lehmusbulevardiin sijoitettiin ensimmäiset teokset. It was about a few gardens and parks that have become home for interesting contemporary sculptures. This post got one like.
