In addition to her passion for photography/directing she is also passionate about animal rights and works with the foundation Animal Hope and Wellness.Zoey Grossman was born in Manhattan, but grew up in LA, ‘an incredibly artistic and inspiring city that supports creativity’. Zoey’s photos are uniquely feminine, with flawless craftsmanship. Her images capture a beautiful sense of mood that it makes it impossible to turn away…Colorful, sexy, and playful, with a little bit of black magic… Her pictures have struck the balance between not-too-pretty and not-too-gritty, with a vintage vibe. Zoey Grossman
Born in New York, but growing up in Los Angeles, Zoey Grossman studied photography and fine arts at the University of Pennsylvania. Her images are uniquely feminine, with flawless craftsmanship-her work pulls from the concepts of the intellectualization of beauty and the evolution of her own fascination with the in between moments of what it means to be a woman. The dreamy elegance of her photography has graced the covers of magazines such as Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Numéro, Rolling Stone, V, as well as global campaigns for clients such as Marc Jacobs, Dior, The Kooples, Victoria's Secret, Sephora, Reebok, Nike, and Swarovski. There are photographs that possess a magical power over me, images all-encompassing and I can’t not look. And explore. LA photographer Zoey Grossman creates such magic photographs. Sensual and feminine, with a balanced touch of edgy grit, Zoey’s photos capture such a beautiful sense of mood that it makes it impossible to turn away.
We caught up with Zoey at our “Eastern Star”shoot in the hidden hills of Los Angeles. She’s kind, witty and smart.
