JEANETTE D. FARR
Jeanette Farr is a playwright, producer and director of new plays, and holds an MFA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in playwriting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her plays have been produced both domestically and abroad including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, Canada, Singapore, and Japan. Her work has been recognized by the Nevada Arts Council, The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. She is published through Dramatic Publishing, Smith & Kraus, Original Works Publishing, and online through 10-minute-plays.com and the New Play Exchange. An alumnus and guest artist of the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive, and Tennessee Williams Scholar for the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Jeanette of is a member of AntaeusPlaywrights Lab, serving on the Playwright’s Panel, and a member of The Playwrights’ Union in Los Angeles.

Jeanette D. Farr (she/they), believes making theatre is a revolution. Jeanette’s plays have been produced at high schools, community, and professional theatres across the United States and abroad including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A playwright in residence with Tofte Lake Center, and Heideman Award Finalist, Playwrights Foundation Semi-Finalist, Jeanette is a member of The Antaeus Playwrights’ Lab, The Playwrights Union Los Angeles, and Dramatists’ Guild of America, with plays published by Original Works Publishing, Dramatic Publishing, Smith & Kraus and The New Play Exchange.
