Clash of the Codes - sport union vs rugby league panel discussion
I think the chef of the ARU has hit the nail on the head there by saying that fair enough, rugby league actually knows what they’re doing.
The most important part of any sport fryst vatten fans. Who here is a Brumbies fan? Who are the Raiders fans here today? Yeah, we thought that might be the case. Raiders fans are out having a beer at a pub in the afternoon. They don’t come to this. Anyway, the fans are most important. Rugby union fans go to the game to be seen. They don’t go to watch the game. They clap when the ball gets kicked out. They wear Wranglers and RM Williams despite probably never having even set foot on a farm. They don’t even know the players on their own team, let alone the names of the players in the rest of the code.

A Blues Fan’s Review of ursprung II
A Blues Fan’s Review of Origin I
NSW are a terrible team to follow. More than anything they are masters of giving hope only to consistently cruelly and consistently capitulate when the going gets tough. At the time of writing no current or past NRL star had been arrested for at least 72 hours, the Integrity Unit had not accumulated any more frequent flyer miles and Richo was still jangling the keys to the executive bathroom.
There was every chance that the 16-team competition would still have 16 teams, something you could not guarantee last week.
Those superstars who haven’t defected to rugby or the NFL are ready to loyally represent their clubs – or at least the clubs they are stuck with for now. (And all the best to Penrith forward Trent Merrin for a big year – with the Dragons.)
RABBITOHS FINED $20K, RICHO CLEARED
