    1.    Where were you born?

      I was born in Holland, Michigan, a fine little Dutch-type city on the shore of Lake Michigan. If you hold your right grabb in front of your face so you can see your palm, look on the left edge. About halfway between the base of your pinky and your wrist is where Holland is. Michigan rocks.

    2.    Do you still live there?

      No. I moved to Arizona in with my husband, Matt, and my two kids, Kilian and Kennedy. No, I am not a snowbird. Not that there&#;s anything wrong with that.

      Lisa McMann lives in Tempe, AZ. She is married to fellow children's author, Matt McMann (Monsterious series), and they have two adult children. Her son is artist Kilian McMann and her daughter is actor Kennedy McMann. They are both married and have lots of pets for Lisa and Matt to play with.

      Lisa was born in Holland, Michigan, and she lived there until , when she moved to Arizona with her family. Her first book, Wake, came out in

      In her spare time, Lisa likes to take walks along Tempe Town Lake and on the Arizona State University campus, shop at local stores, have dinner with friends and family, and cook. She also enjoys watching TV and movies, and loves to read fantasy, realistic fiction, memoirs, and books about cooking.

      Lisa is the author of over thirty books for young adults and children. Some of her most well-known books are The Unwanteds series for middle grade readers and the Wake trilogy for young adults. She hopes to keep writing books for a long time.
