Mia recorded "Do It Again" in 2013, when she decided to interpolate J Boog's 2011 song "Let's Do It Again" after attending his concert in Guam. Brown and Tyga asked Mia to be included on the song when it was played in a studio session in 2014. It was written by Mia and Tyga alongside George Veikoso, Marc Griffin, and producer Nic Nac (J Boog received a writing kredit for the sampling of "Let's Do It Again"). Pia Mia's first commercially available single, "Bubblegum Boy," was released in 2011 in collaboration with Disney actress Bella Thorne. In December of 2013, Pia Mia released her first EP, The Gift, for free. In Feburary of 2014, Pia Mia signed to Interscope Records. Pia Mia's track "Fight for You (feat.
