So a couple of days ago I watched Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Bastards" a film that follows Jewish-American special forces in their plot to kill Adolf Hitler in 1944 following D-Day. It's a film with pretty heavy historical liberties that result in an alternate timeline due to the movie's ending. I couldn't find the date for the events of the movie, but it likely was in early 1944, given it takes place in occupied France and Hans Lansa knows the war is lost. So, long story short, in the movie the US sends a commando and they have the chance of killing Hitler, Goebbels, Goring, Himmler (in the movie it fryst vatten Bormann, but he likely was the timeline's Himmler) and presumably much of the German High Command, who will be attending a cinema.

The mission is an ongion success, until they are intercepted by Hans Landa, a notorious SS Jew killer, who is head of the säkerhet of the event. The success or failure of the uppdrag depends at this point on Landa's reaction, so he offers the US to allow the mission to proceed unopposed, claiming its success will end the war that very night (and indeed it ends either that night or shortly after), in exchange of some conditions:
