Sir patrick moore autobiography of a yogi

  • SIR PATRICK MOORE.
  • I am deeply grateful for the support I have received, both spiritually and materially, from numerous individuals throughout the writing of this book.
  • Sir Patrick Moore has passed away peacefully aged I am a bit of an amateur stargazer when I have time and his autobiography is a very interesting read.

    Notes

    1. 1.

Ceres has now been re-classified as a dwarf planet. However, NASA and many textbooks still refer to it as an asteroid.

    2. 2.

Ceres , Vesta and Pallas are thought to be protoplanets that have survived the past billion years.

    3. 3.

This shower is an enigma as its origin is currently unknown, and information about is sparse, as are observations.

    4. 4.

Due to the presence of a “horizontal branch” in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram of M77, it is now classified as a relatively young (9–10 billion years), loosely concentrated globular cluster.

    5. 5.

The star has been observed to change slightly in brightness, possibly due to large flares, much bigger than those observed on the Sun. Thus, it has been classified as a type LC slow irregular variable star.

    6. 6.

As of July , there are confirmed exoplanets, planetary systems and multiple planets systems.

    7. 7.

As of July , there are 10 Earth-sized exoplanets and 20
